Although I meant to dig into the technical aspects and techniques of locating wildlife via the use of optics, the weather ended up throwing a wrench in my plans. After finding a good place to set-up, I comically sit on some Buckhorn cacti that was scattered on the ground that I didn’t see. I recovered to video a small clan of Harris Hawk that were squawking away as I underwent my visual search. My secondary plan was to video some deer this afternoon but I accomplished neither my primary or secondary objectives. That’s just the way it goes sometimes.
